POLO衫的范圍窄，它有特定的款式；而T恤衫是泛稱，在我國，T恤衫可以是翻領的T恤，也可以是圓領或V領的T恤，甚經常有人把POLO衫也稱為T恤，但圓領T恤和V領T恤卻不能稱為POLO衫。
